If a roll of wallpaper covers 30 square feet, how many rolls are needed to cover the walls of a recentagular room 10 feet long by 8 feet wide by 9 feet high?
There are no windows in the room

We have to cover the surface area of the walls which equals or

square feet. (Note that the product omits the area of the floor or the ceiling.) Since a roll covers 30 square feet, we need
rolls.
