A line has a slope of and intersects the point (-12, -39). At which point does this line intersect the x-axis?

Use the information given to find the equation of the line:

\small y=\frac{3}{4}x+b

\small -39=\frac{3}{4}(-12)+b

\small -39=-9+b\Rightarrow b=-30.
